I
was born in Sparks, Nevada in 1944, graduated with honors
from Sparks High School, served a stint in the Army where
I obtained the rank of staff sergeant, graduated with honors
from Brigham Young University in 1969, taught school for four
years, and then, at age 31, I entered the J. Reuben Clark
Law School at BYU, graduating with honors in 1978. I have
been a successful trial attorney in Las Vegas, Nevada, for
the past twenty-four years, having faced and beaten in trial
some of the best lawyers in Las Vegas. In 1994 I left my position
as a partner in the law firm of Edward, Hale, and Hansen and
started my own firm Hansen and Hansen. Currently I am a partner
of Hansen & Rassmussen.
I'm active in community
affairs. I was recently awarded the Silver Beaver by the Boy
Scouts of America, I'm active in my church, and I am currently
serving as the State Chairman of my political party. I'm a
fighter for the things I think are right, and I'm a fighter
for my client's rights in Court.
