We are experienced in fighting against government
bureaucrats on behalf of businesses who are being treated
unfairly and unjustly by the various government agencies.
We have challenged in Court the Nevada Department of Taxation,
Nevada OSHA, the Nevada Department of Wildlife, the Nevada
Attorney General, the Nevada Secretary of State, the Contractors
Board, and the Clark County Court Clerk, to name a few State
agencies. We have also challenged in court the U.S. Forest
Service, the BLM, and even the IRS. Finally, we have been
successful in all of these cases except those that are currently
on appeal, and we are hoping that the appellate judges will
rule in our favor on those cases.
The Nevada Department of Taxation illegally
tried to collect $350,000 from one of our clients since 1994.
Not one cent was ever paid. OSHA tried to fine one of our
clients $1500, and finally threw in the towel and dismissed
their case after we put OSHA on trial. The Nevada Secretary
of State tried to keep a new political party off the ballot,
and we got a ruling from the Nevada Supreme Court that she
had to give ballot position. We are routinely in Court fighting
the IRS, the BLM, IRS, DMV, RTC, and other government agencies.
Many attorneys are afraid to take on these government agencies,
sue them, and stop them from their oppressive, illegal, and
unconstitutional actions. We are not. We'll be your Bulldog
in Court to keep the bureaucrats at bay.
Our specialty in this area of law is commercial
litigation. We have represented Contractors and Subcontractors,
Mining Companies, Employee Leasing Companies, Commercial Art
Establishments, Alarm Companies, Ranching Corporations and

Jonathan is a young, bright, and capable attorney, with over
seven years of trial experience who has proven himself as
a tough litigator. He's a fighter for the things that he knows
are right, and a fighter for client's rights in Court.
Joel started in the personal injury and insurance
defense business back in 1978 with the firm of Rose, Edwards,
Hunt, & Pearson. Eventually, he became a partner in that
firm in 1984, at which time it was called Edwards, Hale, &
Hansen, Ltd. In 1994, he formed his own firm currently known
as Hansen & Rasmussen, P.C. Since that time, the majority
of his practice has continued to be in insurance defense.
He is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and
is listed in their "Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers."
