Our specialty in this area of law is litigation
of contract disputes. We have represented General Contractors
and Subcontractors in a variety of cases, including suits
and countersuits for damages for breach of contract, enforcement
of liens, bond cases, collection cases by banks and other
creditors against contractors, and so on. We have also been
very successful in representing Contractors and subcontractors
against OSHA, because we have obtained formerly secret information
about OSHA's internal rules, and then taken the depositions
of the OSHA bureaucrats and proven in sworn testimony that
the OSHAcrats do not follow their own rules. If OSHA can't
obey its own rules, they certainly can't expect the Contractors
to obey their oppressive regulations. We have also successfully
represented Contractors in disputes with the Taxing Authorities.

courts, federal and state agencies, and other entities.

Our firm's founder, Joel F. Hansen, is the seasoned litigator,
with the wisdom and experience of many courtroom battles.
Jonathan is a young, bright, and capable attorney, with over
seven years of trial experience who has proven himself as
a tough litigator. He's a fighter for the things that he knows
are right, and a fighter for client's rights in Court.
Joel started in the personal injury and insurance
defense business back in 1978 with the firm of Rose, Edwards,
Hunt, & Pearson. Eventually, he became a partner in that
firm in 1984, at which time it was called Edwards, Hale, &
Hansen, Ltd. In 1994, he formed his own firm currently known
as Hansen & Rasmussen, P.C. Since that time, the majority
of his practice has continued to be in insurance defense.
He is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and
is listed in their "Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers."
